The verification process is a mandatory security requirement that all personnel must complete before gaining access to GridColo facilities. This process ensures that only authorized, verified individuals can access sensitive data center locations. Verification involves submitting government-issued photo identification documents and completing a background check form. Your verification status is tracked per GridColo site, meaning you must be verified for each location where you need access.

Initial Status
Start with pending_id status after being invited by your Customer Admin
Upload ID
Upload required ID documents - ensure documents are clear, complete, and not expired
ID Review
Security staff reviews your ID documents to verify authenticity and validity
Background Check
If ID is approved, complete the background check form with required information
Final Review
Security staff reviews your complete verification package
Approval/Rejection
Receive approval or rejection notification via email and in the portal
Appeal Process
If rejected, submit an appeal with additional documentation
