GridMetro
A read-only view of your organization's network connectivity at each GridColo site.
Overview
GridMetro is GridColo's network connectivity service, providing access to multiple network providers at each site. The GridMetro section shows your organization's orders, port assignments, IP allocations, and BGP prefix configurations.
Tenant staff have read-only access. You can look up how your connectivity is configured when troubleshooting or planning work, but changes must be made by a tenant administrator. This keeps network changes inside an approval workflow and helps prevent accidental disruptions.
What you can view
GridMetro orders
Every order for your organization, grouped by site, with status and bandwidth.
Port assignments
The specific switch ports assigned to each order at each site.
IP allocations
IPv4 and IPv6 blocks allocated to your GridMetro services.
BGP prefixes
Prefixes announced for your organization and their current configuration.
When this view is useful
Use the GridMetro view to confirm configuration before you open a ticket or make changes on your own equipment.

Common questions
- Why can't I edit an order?
- Network changes affect every system on that connection, so they are restricted to administrators and go through an approval workflow.
- What should I do if the configuration looks wrong?
- Open a support ticket with the site, order, and what you expected to see, and let your administrator know.
