GridColo facilities use automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) technology to streamline vehicle access for authorized personnel. By registering your vehicle, you can drive directly through security gates without stopping for manual verification.

Registering a Vehicle
Access Vehicle Registration
From your dashboard, navigate to the Vehicles section and click "Register Vehicle" to begin the registration process.
Enter Vehicle Information
Provide your vehicle's license plate number, state, make, model, color, and year. Accurate information is critical for ALPR system recognition.
Verification Process
Your vehicle registration is verified by security staff to ensure accuracy and authorization. This typically takes 1-2 business days.
Activation
Once verified, your vehicle is activated in the ALPR system and you'll receive a confirmation notification. You can then use the vehicle for automatic site access.
Required Information
License Plate Number
The exact license plate number as displayed on your vehicle
State/Province
The state or province where the vehicle is registered
Make & Model
Vehicle manufacturer and model (e.g., Toyota Camry, Ford F-150)
Color & Year
Primary vehicle color and year of manufacture for visual verification
Important Notes
- • Vehicle access is linked to your personal access credentials and active status
- • If your account is suspended or access is revoked, vehicle access is automatically disabled
- • Always ensure your vehicle registration information is current and accurate
- • Remove vehicles from your account when you no longer use them to maintain security
- • Some sites may have specific parking or vehicle access restrictions
