SERVICE FRAMEWORK
The GridColo license is intended to provide a practical starting point for running a customer-facing infrastructure business: defined offerings, reusable documentation, configured workflows, and a process for keeping them aligned.
Service definitions establish what the customer receives, which options can be added, what information is required, and where responsibility changes hands. The catalog can support colocation, dedicated space, powered shell, powered land, connectivity, and selected support services.
Standardization applies to how the service is defined and administered. It does not force every operator to offer every service or accept the same commercial obligations.
The framework provides a consistent architecture for master agreements, orders, site exhibits, responsibility matrices, service-level schedules, access terms, and approved data and brand provisions.
Documents are adapted for the actual service and contracting parties. Local legal requirements and negotiated exceptions still receive review.
Implementation, access, tickets, remote-hands requests, maintenance notices, incident communications, evidence, billing support, and renewal all need an accountable process. GridColo connects those processes to the relevant customer, site, scope, and record.
Adopting a framework requires configuration and preparation. Implementation identifies the required data, approved integrations, responsible people, training, acceptance tests, and support handoff.
The program provides a way to check whether the agreed practices are being followed, record findings, resolve exceptions, and update the permitted service and brand claims.
