Manage staff access

Overview

Personnel Management allows you to manage the staff members from your organization who need access to GridColo sites. This is where you invite new personnel, track their verification and training status, and ensure that only authorized individuals have access to your data center facilities. Personnel must complete a verification process (ID verification and background checks), complete required training, and obtain badges before they can access GridColo sites. Each personnel member is assigned to specific GridColo sites, so you can control which staff have access to which locations.

  • View Personnel List: See all personnel associated with your customer organization with their current status
  • Invite Personnel: Send invitations to new personnel to join your organization and begin the access process
  • Resend Invitations: Resend enrollment invitations to personnel who may not have received or completed their initial invitation
  • Remove Personnel: Remove personnel from your organization when they no longer need access
  • Personnel Status Tracking: Monitor verification, training, and badge status for each personnel member to ensure compliance

Personnel Workflow

  1. Invite Personnel: Send an invitation email to new personnel with enrollment instructions
  2. Enrollment: Personnel receive enrollment instructions and create their portal account
  3. Verification: Personnel submit ID verification documents and complete background checks
  4. Training: Personnel complete required training modules for site access and safety
  5. Badge Ordering: Once approved, personnel can order physical badges for site access
  6. Site Access: Personnel gain access to assigned GridColo sites once all requirements are met
