CANADIAN SOVEREIGN COMPUTE CAMPUS
OVERVIEW
Sovereign Shield is a Canadian sovereign compute campus planned for more than 1.05 GW of phased capacity. The campus is designed around hydro-powered and hydro-backed electricity, supporting customers that need both low-carbon energy and Canadian data residency.
Phase 1 targets 150 MW, with first capacity targeted for Q2 2027. The reservation framework for Phase 1 is in preparation, and GridColo is engaging prospective customers to align phase configuration with workload requirements.
Targets are not guarantees. Phase scope and dates are confirmed through engineering, permitting, interconnection, and commissioning milestones, and are committed only in executed agreements.
Developed with project partners under the GridCore campus framework. Ownership and operating roles are disclosed to qualified customers during engagement.
