Acceptable Identification
All visitors must present valid identification for facility access. Review our accepted forms of ID below.
Important Requirements
- The document must be current and valid (not expired)
- The document must contain a photo of the individual
- The document cannot be damaged or mutilated and must be scannable
- Copies or photos cannot be accepted — only valid, original documents
- The name on the ID must match the name on file for your visit

- U.S. passport
- U.S. passport card
- Permanent resident card
- U.S. Department of Defense ID, including IDs issued to dependents
- U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Employment Authorization Card (I-766)
- HSPD-12 PIV card
- Veterans Health Administration (VA) ID
State & Local
- Driver’s licenses or other state photo identity cards issued by Department of Motor Vehicles (or equivalent)
- State-issued Enhanced Driver’s License
- Federally recognized, tribal-issued photo ID
Trusted Traveler & Border
- DHS trusted traveler cards (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST)
- Border crossing card
- Canadian provincial driver’s license or Indian and Northern Affairs Canada card
Transportation & Maritime
- Transportation worker identification credential
- U.S. Merchant Mariner Credential
Foreign Government
- Foreign government-issued passport
